Who I am

My Oma and Opa came from Holland every summer to visit us in Canada. My Oma taught me how to crochet and knit. I remember her patiently teaching me the stitches over and over, until I learned them, and they began to shape into a long scarf or blanket. I have picked it up every now and then over the years, but recently disovered amigurmi through the Woobles. I went online, through YouTube and Etsy, and discovered there is an endless amount of things to make! I was delighted that what I leared years ago could create so much! My children have grown, and though they still like some things I can make, I needed someone else to make things for! So, here I am. If I can bring a little joy to someone by something I make, that brings joy to me!
